Sitting in the head quarters, staring at the computer screen, Sidney sat, leaning back in her chair and her hands behind her head. Harry was coming over to the head quarters, and he mysteriously did not want to tell her where he was when she asked where he was. Strange, she knew. Normally Harry was quite happy around her, and very open. Yet, for the past few hours that they had talked in the chat room together (with and with out Josh trying to pry into what they were talking about), Harry had acted kind of strange. Must have been some kind of male thing that happened. And Sidney thought that females had more mood swings.
Sighing, she got up from her chair, walking about the room as if she was looking for some thing. The television was on, and one of the crew members was of course, watching it. But Sidney did not automatically recognize the show that he was watching. Some thing on the Travel Channel. She guessed it was that Bizzare World or some thing, since it was showing a bald male eating strange looking foods. Yeah, that always was a good show to watch when you were hungry; especially when you watch the episode where he ate the cheese covered in maggots. Nothing on it had really made Sidney sick. Hell, she would be eating her lunch and be watching the show while she was eating. It did not really matter to her. Every one in the crew had ate cooked spiders, cooked catepillars, and all that stuff average people would find gross.
Sidney had also wondered why Harry wanted her to stop talking about Josh so much. She had only mentioned Josh like... four times in the whole chat. That was probably just a mystery where Harry only had the answer. However, Sidney may just try prying it out of him later on. Speaking of Josh, he was over at his computer station looking up stuff about the next investigation. First he had said that they were going to Vancouver, and then he said that they were going to go to South America and not Vancouver, but they were still hunting the same thing that they were going to. Those big, prehistoric dinosaur birds had been spotted around the area that they were going to go. Apparently not paying attention to any thing else around him, Harry had arrived into the head quarters, and immediately Sidney greated him with a bright greeting. Hey, Harry! She greeted, walking past Josh and to the front entrance.

If there was one thing that pissed Harry off, it was just how oblivious that Sidney could be sometimes. He had known the girl since they were tiny practically, and he had been holding that stupid flame for her since they were teens. And yet for some reason, he hadn’t told her. It made him nervous, to talk about his feelings around her. It wasn’t something that you just bring up in a normal conversation, being all, “Hey, so how’s the weather? By the way, I’ve been in love with you pretty much since we were little.” That just wasn’t something that he could do, not just yet anyways. Even though he was pretty used to be very opened and opinionated, epically when it was to or about her, he couldn’t see himself saying anything near this magnitude to her. He might have to soon, because the way she was acting, it was starting to really piss him off.
For some reason, Sidney was acting as though she were in love with Josh! The very thought of that other male, and their team leader made him sick. It wasn’t like he hated the guy; he just didn’t want to see him with Sidney in any other way besides what they were right now. Leader and Co-leader, because anything else would result in heartache for him right now. With a tilt of his head, he wondered just why the hell she looked so happy to see him right now. After all, Josh was sitting right there, on his precious little computer and doing whatever it was he was doing this time. He rolled his eyes and flashed her a smile; Yeah, so I came over like I said I would. He told her with a shrug, he didn’t know just what to say to her right about now.
He was pretty sure she was still confused as to why he wouldn’t tell her where he was. He would have told her before; except that he wasn’t sure she would want to hear it. I mean, she had known him forever, and she was very opinionated about certain things that he did as well. It made him even more nervous to be around her right now. He was at his ex girlfriend’s house, and Syd HATED his ex girlfriend for some reason. She was an odd girl; she had never really given him a reason why she hated her so much. He figured that he would just let it go, because he didn’t feel much like questioning her, since he didn’t want to be questioned about certain things. He tilted his head and looked at her, What’s with that smile? He asked her with a grin being pulled up onto his lips.

Sidney had been friends with Harry ever since they were just young kids, and she had to admit, she did like Harry. It was not like she was going to admit to it aloud, though. Not even to one of her best friends in the crew. Not that she was nervous, no, it was just that she did not want to tell him. Even though they never really had that much of romantic time together... or if they did, Sidney never had noticed.
Josh was just a mere best friend and co-worker to Sidney. Naught a thing more then that. She did not have any kind of lovey dovey feelings towards him at all, and she could doubt that he did have any for her back. Plus, it was weird for the two to be in love with each other in Sidney's book. It would just be too awkward. Sidney was happy to see him because she was Sidney, that was just her attitude. Happy to see every body in the crew. Switching her glance from Josh to Harry, she caught Harry looking at Josh and with an eye roll, he had turned to her. Yeah, so I came over like I said I would. Harry said, shrugging. She cocked her head to the side but shook it off, chuckling. I knew you would. She said.
She still wondered why Harry had not told her about where he was. If he was at his ex-girl friend's house, that would make Sidney think that the two were back together, and she would not like that. Not like Sidney would ever tell the truth why she hated his ex girl friend so much. Jealousy, it was, mostly. What's with that smile? Harry asked her, a grin on his face. She laughed, shaking her head. I'm just glad to see you, that's all. Is there a problem with that? Sidney asked, looking towards him with a smirk.

Harry couldn’t really be bothered with the whole rivalry thing that was apparently going on with him and Josh right now. He didn’t bother to start things that didn’t need to be started, so instead of kicking Josh’s chair like he usually did when he passed it, he tapped it lightly and gave a faint, Hey Boss. The Boss thing was just a fun way of sort of making fun of him.
I mean, Josh took this whole thing so seriously, he sometimes even refused to tell them where they were going and what they were hunting until they got there the day before or while they were on the plane. The dude acted like one of those nuts that went around hunting the supernatural for a living sometimes. After doing so, he turned to Sidney and gave her another shrug. Well, I did say I was going to come. He gave her a small chuckle and then held out his arms to her. Don’t I get a hug? Normally, it was custom for them to hug when they saw each other. She was one of those people who liked to hug and show affection to those she cared about. The fact that she and the whole crew had been working together for a while was something that meant she hugged them all a lot.
He stood there with his arms out stretched and waited for her to slip into them. One thing he wasn’t going to say out loud was that he actually really liked it when she hugged him. It gave him an excuse to put his arms around her and hold her tight. Though he figured that if he just went on and told her how he felt, he might get to do it more freely. Though, at the same time, there was also the risk that she didn’t feel the same and then he would just ruin a friendship that meant a lot more to him. But, did the friendship mean enough to stay quite about everything? The way he saw it, anything was worth it if it involved Sidney, but just like his earlier thoughts, he was not going to say them out loud for fear of doing something stupid that would hurt them as friends.
What he didn’t know though, was that the two of them had probably been playing this game of cat and mouse afraid to tell the truth since they were kids. Harry cocked his head to the side and gave her a look of his own. No, there is nothing wrong with that. He said with a shake of his head. It’s just that you look kind of anxious or something. he told her with a shrug. It didn’t really matter much, since he knew that she most likely just wanted to try and get where he had been out of her and he just was not about to tell her. He didn’t want to see the look that flashed through her eyes whenever she heard about his ex-girlfriend. It wasn’t like the two of them were together again or anything, but Harry noticed that just like when she talked about Josh around him, when he talked about Hannah, there was a certain flash behind her eyes. Maybe she wasn’t aware of it, but he noticed it every single time.
